This week me and my friends went to the skatepark and filmed a video. We always make little edits with our phones but this time, my friend Finn brought his VX camera. These cameras are used a lot in skate films because it gives you like an old fashion look to it. We filmed for about 2 hours and the video turned out pretty good. Finn is really good at filming with it because he uses it a lot. Whenever I film with a camera like this it is super hard to get everything in the frame.
After I skated, I went to go hang out with my friends at butterfly beach. There were lots of people but the sunset was nice. I never really go to watch the sunset because it’s never really fun for me, but my friend Halie told me to come with my other friend Ben. It ended up being pretty fun. We walked down the beach and then went to go get food.
Other than these things, I hit a pole while driving and it really messed my car up. I didn’t see it while I was backing out, and I just smashed into it. The pole came out of no where. I got out to see what happened and at first I didn’t really care about the dent but then when I started driving it I was so mad that I hit it because It made this weird noise. When I turn to the right, it makes a terrible noise because the tire scrapes against the plastic that is dented. I’m not sure when Im going to get it fixed but hopefully I do soon because it is super annoying to drive while it makes this noise. Besides this I just had a mellow weekend. I just hung out with my friends and did what we usually do. I would say this weekend was more boring because I didn’t really do anything super exciting, besides hitting a pole. Anyways thats pretty much it. I will see you guys next week. Hopefully it will be more exciting.
